Membership Benefits

Beyond the obvious benefits of lifetime friendships and membership in a Brotherhood of the oldest division in the Army, following are provided to members:

Communication - The Association maintains close communication with its members through their Facebook page, web site and newsletters. The newsletters are mailed to every member and also available electronically on our web site.

Annual Conference and Reunion - Members are invited to return to Fort Indiantown Gap annually to renew friendships and memories of active duty days. The Annual Conference and Reunion is held the Wednesday through Saturday after the Labor Day holiday. Life Members have the additional benefit of having their registration fee waived at the Annual Conference Convention and Reunion.

License Plate
– Members of the Association who are Pennsylvania residents are eligible for a Roll On 28th ID registration plate for their vehicle from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. After many years of waiting, we are expecting them to be available sometime in 2017! It is taking a House Bill and a vote by our State Legislature, but we haven't stopped working on it.
